LeNaya Hezel is the Veterans Office Director at Georgetown University. Being a military spouse to a Naval Officer allows LeNaya serves as a liaison for prospective, current, and prospective military students and faculty,
administrators, support services, and the Department of Veteran Affairs. In addition to these efforts, she manages Georgetown University’s efforts to increase its outreach and support to the veteran community. LeNaya has had over ten years experience as a Higher Education professional and student advocate. Previous to Georgetown University, she served as a Veteran Services Graduate Assistant and Certifying Official for The George Washington University where she counseled students, organized outreach events, and processed veteran benefits. She holds an MA in Higher Education Administration from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from the University of Maryland.
